Lise Lunge-Larsen
Lunge LarsenNorwegian-born Lise Lunge-Larsen has been storytelling and writing about trolls and hidden folk  all her life. Her award-winning books include The Hidden Folk; Race of the Birkebeiners; The Troll with no Heart in His Body, and Legend of the Lady Slipper.  She lives with her family in Duluth, MN, where she is commonly known as "The Troll Lady".

Gerald Morris
MorrisGerald Morris grew up between two worlds, living alternately in Singapore and the United States. He continues to alternate between the world of writing and being a part-time pastor, substitute teacher, and a college instructor. Since childhood, his love of mythology has led him to retell the old stories. "When I found the Arthurian literature, I knew at once that I wanted to retell those grand stories." Gerald Morris' series The Squires Tales, based on the Arthurian legends, include The Squire's Tale, Parsifal's Page; The Lioness and Her Knight; and The Princess, the Crone, and the Dung-Cart Knight. Gerald lives in Wausau, WI.

David LaRochelle
LarochelleMinnesota author and illustrator David LaRochelle has written and illustrated more than twenty-five books for young children, and most recently has begun writing for young adults. "I'm such a lucky man! I get to make a living writing and illustrating books for young people."  His award-winning books include Best Pet of All and Bookstore Vacation; his new young adult book is Absolutely, Positively Not. David lives and works in White Bear Lake, MN and is a frequent visitor to schools and libraries.
