TechnoFit: Technology and Learning to Transform Your Life with Brenda Hough
Technology and learning can not only impact the work you do in the library, but can impact your entire life. How can you find the time to learn? Is keeping up possible when things change so rapidly? The key to technology success is to recognize your personal learning style and then create a personal learning environment that supports it. In this session you will hear stories of other busy people achieving personal learning success using free tools and techniques. Leave the session with a plan for your own development.
Luncheon Speaker: Bill DeJohn, Director, MINITEX
Hear how libraries of all types in Minnesota work together to provide services to all citizens of the state. Learn about the many statewide projects under the MINITEX umbrella, about library trends, and how those of us in the NLLN region fit into the grand scheme of things!
23 Things on a Stick: A Library Learning 2.0 Project
Hear from a panel of NLLN participants how these tools have changed their way of working and how these tools are being used in libraries of all types. Recognition of participants and award of prizes to those who completed the entire project.
